Beasley with the Putback Dunk Over Gasol
Michael Beasley has been in quite a slump lately, which continued last night as he scored just 6 points. It could be the result of his minutes being cut down, but I guess that's what you get when you can't lead your team past bottom feeders like the Timberwolves while Dwyane Wade is out. Unfortunately, that game made Charles Barkley's assertion that the Heat are a bunch of Tito Jacksons without Wade seem pretty true. At least he had this highlight worthy play on Gasol, but of course he followed it up with a dumb technical for yelling in Gasol's face. It seems like Beasley often has trouble containing his emotions after big plays like these. Hopefully he can start to turn it around as the playoff race heats up (pun definitely intended).
